About The Position

Roblox is looking for an experienced Senior Counsel, Litigation to join our Legal team. In this role, you will provide management and support for a variety of litigation, disputes, and investigations, including regulatory, consumer, product liability, insurance, and intellectual property disputes. You will report to our Director, Litigation. Location: The position is seated at Roblox Headquarters in San Mateo, CA. Roblox's mandatory in-office days are Tuesday through Thursday with optional in-office days on Monday and Friday.

Requirements

• 7+ years of litigation experience (law firm experience is required)
• Membership in good standing with the California Bar (or other bar association with the ability to register as in-house counsel in California)
• Broad complex litigation experience, with emphasis in regulatory, consumer, products liability, multi-district litigations, and/or class actions
• Excellent judgment, discretion, and risk assessment
• Strong and effective drafting skills
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships
• Practical business acumen, driving pragmatic business-oriented solutions
• A highly approachable, collegial, and collaborative approach
• Accountable and proactive self-starter, comfortable working independently
• Superb organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with and manage outside litigation counsel
• Advise cross-functional teams on litigation strategy and risks
• Coordinate and actively participate in internal discovery activities and subpoena responses
• Address pre-litigation disputes
• Assist with internal investigations
• Support Legal department and team related projects, as assigned
