Requirements

  • Exceptional communication skills - clear, concise, confident - able to build strong stakeholder relationships and drive performance.
  • Strong systems and data capability - comfortable producing KPI reports, tracking key dates and tasks, and using law firm systems to manage process.
  • Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel and a working understanding of legal operations/firm systems.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, with a methodical approach and pride in the content and presentation of your work.
  • A collaborative mindset, working effectively across teams and practice areas, with an appreciation for how support functions enable business success.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain oversight of process performance against SLAs.
  • Own the end-to-end process for specified matter areas (e.g. particular service lines or tranches of work), supporting colleagues and liaising with clients/legal units as appropriate.
  • Help the team meet targets and increase fee income through consistent, high-quality process delivery.
  • Assist with recruitment of junior team members and support onboarding.
  • Contribute to training and development, sharing best practices and uplifting capability across the team.
  • Champion continuous improvement, using data and feedback loops to drive efficiencies.
  • Oversee internal auditing for quality control and compliance.
  • Produce and maintain KPI reporting for the senior team, ensuring clarity and actionability.
  • Own key solutions and platforms (e.g., administrator search tools, LMS).
  • Support lender panel administration and panel renewals.
  • Coordinate and oversee small to medium-sized projects and operational changes - such as deploying new service lines or process enhancements.
