About The Position

Bounteous is a premier end-to-end digital transformation consultancy dedicated to partnering with ambitious brands to create digital solutions for today’s complex challenges and tomorrow’s opportunities. With uncompromising standards for technical and domain expertise, we deliver innovative and strategic solutions in Strategy, Analytics, Digital Engineering, Cloud, Data & AI, Experience Design, and Marketing. Our Co-Innovation methodology is a unique engagement model designed to align interests and accelerate value creation. Our clients worldwide benefit from the skills and expertise of over 4,000+ expert team members across the Americas, APAC, and EMEA. By partnering with leading technology providers, we craft transformative digital experiences that enhance customer engagement and drive business success. We’re looking for a commercial attorney to join our lean, high-performing global legal team supporting the Americas. This role partners directly with the General Counsel on commercial contracting, legal operations, and process improvement for a business that manages approximately 1,600 contracts annually across complex digital services engagements. This role is designed for someone who is strong on contracts and equally focused on how the work gets done. You will take ownership of day-to-day contracting while helping build the operational infrastructure of the legal function. The right person is a problem solver who thrives in a fast-evolving environment, embraces AI and legal technology, and cares as much about improving workflows and processes as they do about the substance of the agreements they negotiate.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • 4–8 years of commercial contracting experience, ideally including in-house experience within a technology services, consulting, or digital agency environment
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills across technology services agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, and vendor contracts
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail and driving deals to closure
  • Process-oriented mindset with a focus on building scalable systems, improving workflows, and increasing operational efficiency
  • Experience with or strong interest in legal operations, including CLM systems, contract automation, and process design
  • Genuine enthusiasm for AI and legal technology, not just willingness to use these tools but active interest in pushing what’s possible in contract review, redlining, automation, and legal research
  • A self-starter and problem solver who can work independently in a fast-paced environment with high ownership and minimal oversight, and who thrives when things are evolving quickly
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across a distributed global team and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Familiarity with digital, cloud, data, or AI-related agreements, as well as exposure to data privacy, litigation management, and IP considerations

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end drafting, review, and negotiation of MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and vendor agreements across digital transformation, cloud, data, and AI engagements, managing a high volume of contracts while driving deals to efficient close
  • Partner closely with Commercial Finance and business stakeholders to analyze contract terms, identify risk, and deliver pragmatic, revenue-aligned solutions
  • Build and scale the operational infrastructure of the legal function, including development of playbooks, templates, clause libraries, and negotiation frameworks
  • Design and continuously improve legal workflows, intake processes, and reporting to support a high-throughput, global contracting environment
  • Support the implementation and optimization of CLM systems and AI-enabled legal tools, including smart redlining, document analytics, obligation management, and Salesforce integration, leveraging technology to improve speed, accuracy, and consistency
  • Identify and execute opportunities to automate manual work and increase efficiency across contracting and legal operations
  • Work directly with the General Counsel on day-to-day legal matters, operating with high ownership in a lean, fast-paced environment
  • Coordinate with a distributed global legal team to ensure alignment on standards, workflows, and delivery
  • Provide broader commercial legal support across IP, privacy, employment, and vendor-related matters, using sound judgment and external counsel where appropriate. Support management of active litigation matters, contribute to the company’s privacy program, and collaborate with the compliance function on U.S. regulatory matters
  • Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
  • Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
  • Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
