About The Position
The primary purpose of this role is to provide student centered teaching in both didactic and clinical instruction of undergraduate level courses. Faculty in this position will provide student advising, student mentoring and recruitment, curriculum development and conducting scholarly activities. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, engaging in accreditation procedures, program assessment and service to the school, College and University as needed. Currently: The primary responsibilities for this position include teaching undergraduate level courses, conducting development, conducting scholarly activities. This is a 12 month non tenure track position .
Requirements
- MSN
- Doctoral Degree in Nursing
- Three years of clinical experience related to concepts and theories essential in providing nursing care to childbearing families, newborns, and women
- Two years experience in nursing education
- Nurse Educator Certification
- Skills with BlackBoard LMS
- Banner INB
- Microsoft Office Software
