The Learning Experience Specialist – Installation and Service Instructor plays a key role in training people how to properly install and service Marvin products. You’ll deliver top-quality training to dealers, sub-contractors, and Marvin employees through hands-on sessions, virtual training, and helping create training videos and materials. Training may happen at Marvin locations or at customer sites. This role works closely with others in a fast-moving environment and supports projects that make a real impact on the business. Highlights of your role Training Delivery Knowledge in product installation, construction concepts, and product service topics meeting Marvin’s standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Build trust with each audience by sharing practical, real-world examples and relation back to concepts being covered. Communicate clearly, be engaging, and create a positive learning environment across all training formats. Use a mix of classroom and hands-on learning to help people understand and apply concepts. Adjust your approach based on the participant group’s experience, skill level, and engagement. Help maintain training equipment, materials, and spaces (windows, doors, tools, wall bucks, etc.). Work with the broader LX team to coordinate in-person training events. Assist in creating or updating training documentation whenever new topics or changes arise. Business Awareness Clearly and confidently explain Marvin’s products and services. Stay up-to-date on installation and service best practices and customer feedback. Keep informed about changes in the fenestration industry to ensure training stays relevant. Understand key metrics so training aligns with business goals. Team Engagement Help create a collaborative learning culture and strengthen the reputation of Marvin’s training programs. Serve as a subject-matter expert for installation and service topics. Provide feedback on training topics and materials based on what you observe in sessions. Build strong relationships with other departments to partner and consult on their training needs. You're a good fit if you have (or if you can) Know Marvin products well and understand how they’re installed and serviced. Learn quickly and retain technical information. Can follow Marvin’s installation standards while finding creative, compliant solutions. Have experience leading training in various formats (large groups, small groups, virtual, video, etc.). Build strong, trust-based working relationships. Can adjust your message on the fly depending on the audience. Show good judgment, initiative, and an objective approach when recommending solutions. Work independently and with a sense of urgency. Influence others effectively when recommending training or process improvements. Use company tools, equipment, and resources responsibly. Are comfortable traveling 50% of the time or more. Can safely lift materials or equipment as needed.
