About The Position

Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the unique engineering challenges we face daily. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams. The Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) Supply Chain team is dedicated to building an intelligent, scalable, and resilient supply chain that powers GDC, which extends Google's infrastructure, compute, AI, and edge capabilities to customer data centers and hybrid environments globally. This mission connects innovation to execution by building trusted global partnerships and accelerating time-to-market. Key leadership roles in this effort include the Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, who leads the sourcing and supplier strategy for OEM hardware (Compute, Network and Storage) and system integration partners, ensuring secure and scalable deployments; and the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Operations and Materials Management, who serves as the "Execution Engine" responsible for the flawless, on-time, and cost-effective physical delivery of GDC hardware, mastering global logistics and driving end-to-end operational excellence to meet demanding customer installation schedules. Google Cloud accelerates every organization's ability to digitally transform its business and industry. We deliver enterprise-grade solutions that leverage Google's cutting-edge technology, and tools that help developers build more sustainably. Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems.
