Based in our Sidney, Ohio location, you will represent Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) to provide relevant inputs for New Product Development programs (NPD) as outlined below. As a SENIOR/LEAD NPD SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER, You Will: Attend NPD meetings (Includes weekly Engineering & Team meetings, FMEA, Gate Reviews, Design Reviews) and represent SQE. Present status of SQE department responsibilities such as PPAP approval status and corrective actions to all management levels. Coordinate Commodity SQE involvement as needed. Assist Procurement Program Manager in assuring that adequate design/print/technical reviews occur with Suppliers and Commodity SQEs for new outsourced parts. Provide input as to part manufacturability and provide improvement suggestions to Copeland Product / Design Engineering. Involve Commodity SQEs as appropriate to provide DFM input to promote robust product manufacturability and quality. Maintain project & PPAP status list of new and changed part numbers for programs assigned. Communicated upcoming milestones to commodity SQEs to maintain overall project schedule. Prepare presentations as required to communicate program status to various levels of the organization.
