About The Position

The Senior Lead, Digital Channels is a key role responsible for driving the strategy and day-to-day execution of Branch’s emerging digital acquisition channels, which includes digital media, affiliate and lead gen partners, and embedded partners. The role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset and who is able to conduct rigorous analysis and synthesize disparate information across marketing, design / UX, product, and finance, then act as a ‘quarterback’ to mobilize the cross-functional resources needed to drive success. While the ability to effectively coordinate resources across functional teams is necessary to success in this role, we are looking for a roll-up-the-sleeves “doer” and not a “delegator.”

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of career experience with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • 4+ years of experience with digital media and/or performance marketing
  • 4+ years of experience optimizing for profitability and growth across a complex value chain
  • Deep experience with tracking, attribution, and conversion funnel metrics
  • Exceptional problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Strong program management abilities, including planning and driving execution
  • Thought Leadership: Recognized expert who drives innovation, thought leadership, or practice development.
  • Scalable Solutions: Builds tools, systems, or programs that scale across the business.
  • Peer Developer: Shapes team standards and mentors others in strategic execution.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in insurance or a similarly regulated industry
  • Bachelor's degree in a highly quantitative or analytical field or MBA

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Branch’s senior leadership team on the growth strategy for digital channels
  • Drive the success of these new and emerging digital channels through the rigorous analysis of performance data across the customer lifecycle, from targeting the right prospects, to managing acquisition economics, to working with the UX team on improvements to the conversion funnel and the marketing team on communications over the course of the customer lifecycle
  • Define action plans and coordinate resources across cross-functional teams, including marketing, design & UX, data science, product underwriting, and sales & support
  • Own the core KPI’s for the channel, including growth targets, cost per quote, and cost per customer acquisition
