About The Position
About This Role: Wells Fargo’s Finance Transformation Office is seeking a senior analytics leader and enterprise Alteryx subject matter expert to drive analytical strategy, modernize automation and data practices, and advise senior leadership on large‑scale, compliant solutions across Finance and the broader enterprise. In this role, you will: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, developing and influencing analytical and automation strategies for highly complex business and technical needs Lead the design and resolution of complex analytics and data engineering challenges, integrating data from multiple enterprise and cloud platforms Deliver long‑term, scalable analytics and automation solutions that establish standards, governance, and architectural foundations Provide vision, direction, and technical expertise on advanced analytics, analytic engineering, and Alteryx platform capabilities aligned to enterprise strategy Define, implement, and enforce enterprise standards, best practices, and quality controls for analytics and automation solutions Ensure adherence to compliance, risk, and legal requirements across all projects and production workflows Strategically engage with professionals and leaders across the enterprise, serving as an expert advisor on analytics, automation, and data modernization Enable and mentor analytics and development teams through centers of excellence, guidelines, and reusable frameworks
Requirements
- 7+ years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Nice To Haves
- 7+ years of advanced Alteryx development experience, including Designer, Server, macros, and analytic applications
- Experience serving as an enterprise or domain‑level Alteryx subject matter expert
- Proven experience influencing outcomes and decisions in complex, regulated, enterprise environments
- Demonstrated ability to establish analytics standards, governance models, and develop best practices at scale
- Strong background integrating analytics platforms with SQL, Python, PySpark, cloud data platforms, and Power BI tools
- Experience delivering secure, large‑scale automation and reporting solutions supporting thousands of users
- Proven ability to partner with cross‑functional and international stakeholders to deliver business‑critical analytics solutions
- Lead with a strategic, enterprise mindset while remaining hands-on when needed
- Balance innovation with strong governance and compliance discipline
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Drive consistency, scalability, and quality across analytics and automation initiatives
