Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. What you’ll do: Support the development of the aircraft’s Landing Gear & Brake Control Systems. Support the design, build, and implementation of flight hardware, test stands, procedures and reports, for qualification, certification, and production applications. Team responsibilities include the landing gear, brake system, wheels, and tires. Own the technical direction of the designs, as well as the management of their delivery, conformity, test, and certification. Coordinate with suppliers, manage technical deliverables. Performance analysis, eg: braking energy, multibody dynamic landing analysis. Write, review and conduct tests at the equipment and system level. Flight test data review.
