Your Role: As a Senior Lab Technician – Customs Immunology, our activities will support assay development through commercial application of new and innovative service offerings within the biosafety testing space. You are responsible for the scientific integrity of technical work performed in the laboratory, and are required to make scientific observations, maintain detailed workbooks/documentation and ensure all documentation fulfills generally accepted professional/industry standards. Requirements also include maintaining a thorough understanding of company testing services, technical principles and applications as they apply to your position. Essential Job Functions: Lead in managing reagents and consumable inventories Documents tasks in compliance with SOPs and regulations (cGMP and GLP) as required Identify problems and troubleshoot as appropriate Serve as a lead for lab technicians and as a back up to the lab supervisor Maintains a standard condition of the facility through daily cleaning Ensures availability of lab supplies and orders supplies as required Cleans and sanitizes equipment and supplies as required Labels petrie dishes and other supplies as needed Processes samples, ships inventory and maintains temperature records Complies with health and safety regulations Cross-trains as required and assigned Performs other duties as assigned Who You Are

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology) with 1 + year of scientific/laboratory experience
  • High School diploma or GED with 2 + years of scientific/laboratory experience
