About The Position

The Senior L2/L3 Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. This role involves advanced troubleshooting, network optimization, and supporting escalations from Level 1 and Level 2 teams.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in L2/L3 networking protocols (STP, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, MPLS).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar enterprise networking equipment.
• Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of network security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.
• Experience with SD-WAN, cloud networking, and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Layer 2 and Layer 3 network components (switching, routing, VLANs, VPNs).
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolve escalated network issues.
• Implement network security measures, including firewalls and access controls.
• Monitor network performance and optimize for reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for network integration and upgrades.
• Document network architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
