Senior Java Developer
About The Position
The Senior Java Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex, mission-critical software solutions utilizing Java technologies. This role requires substantial experience in all areas of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, architecture, implementation, integration, testing, and documentation. Requirements
- 8 years of experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in Java programming language.
- 8 years of experience in applications development on J2EE platform.
- 8 years of experience in writing SQL for relational databases.
- 8 years of experience in RESTful web services on Spring platforms.
- 8 years of experience working on Spring Aspect Oriented Programming like transaction management and security.
- 8 years of experience with JUnit and Unit Test development.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
- Must possess problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
- Requirements gathering and documentation.
- Business process improvement and system design.
- Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency.
- Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
- Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time.
- Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature.
- Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- 4 years of experience with Angular UI Framework.
- 4 years of experience with Crystal Reports.
- 4 years of experience with Powe BI.
Responsibilities
- Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
- Investigate problem areas.
- Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
- Other duties as assigned.
