We are seeking a highly experienced and service-oriented Senior IT Support & Audio-Visual (AV) Engineer to provide hands-on, white-glove technology support for our executive leadership team and employees located in our Fort Lauderdale location. This role blends executive IT support, on-site helpdesk responsibilities, and advanced AV support for meetings, presentations, and company events. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a calm, professional presence when supporting senior leaders in high-visibility, time-sensitive situations. Discretion, reliability, and proactive problem-solving are essential. On site in our Fort Lauderdale office

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on end-user IT support experience in a corporate environment, including direct support of senior executives.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Office 365, ServiceNow (or similar ticketing systems); macOS experience strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise hardware, networking fundamentals, and AV systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Professional demeanor, sound judgement, and a strong customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary on-site IT support resource for executive leadership, including direct, high-touch support for the CEO.
  • Provide white-glove support for executives before, during, and after meetings, presentations, and travel-related technology needs.
  • Act as main liaison between on-site users and remote IT teams to ensure seamless issue resolution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues across Windows and macOS environments.
  • Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, peripherals, and executive-level conference room technology.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access via Active Directory, Office 365, and other enterprise systems.
  • Document solutions, processes, and best practices in the IT knowledge base.
  • Set up, test, and support AV systems for executive meetings, board meetings, town halls and company events.
  • Provide real-time, in-room AV support during high-stakes meetings to ensure flawless execution.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot conference room technology, including video conferencing systems, displays, microphones, speakers, and control systems.
  • Partner with third-party vendors and platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, WebEx) to ensure compatibility and reliability.
  • Support after-hours meetings and events as needed; occasional travel may be required.
