OUC - The Reliable One , is presently seeking a Senior IT Quality Engineer to join the Technology division. This role partners closely with IT leadership and cross-functional delivery teams to establish consistent, measurable quality processes and drive continuous improvement throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert in Quality Engineering and Quality Assurance, applying data-driven methodologies, including Six Sigma, to improve software quality, process maturity, and delivery outcomes. You will collaborate with development, testing, and production teams, mentor quality professionals, define and track quality metrics, and support audit and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will have: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, including manual and automated testing, defect management, and reporting, with 4+ years leading or managing medium to large-scale IT quality engineering initiatives Proven experience applying Six Sigma methodologies in a software development environment, with a strong understanding of SDLC processes (Agile and Waterfall) Strong technical and analytical skills, including experience with ALM and SDLC tools, quality metrics development, and data-driven process improvement Six Sigma Black Belt certification (ASQ or equivalent) or the ability to obtain certification within one year of hire Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams, mentor others, and drive adoption of quality standards OUC offers a very competitive compensation and benefits package. Job Purpose: Establishes, implements, and trains others on quality engineering and compliance processes for the Digital and Technology IT organization. Works closely with IT Leadership to develop and implement an overall quality maturity roadmap and plan for each IT functional area. Collaborates with development, testing, and production teams to develop, publish, and implement software quality engineering plans. Establishes, monitors and makes recommendations on updates to internal IT service quality control standards, policies, and procedures.
