About The Position

We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to join American Tower’s Information Technology (“IT”) organization’s Delivery Excellence team. This team is responsible for delivering complex, strategically significant IT initiatives that drive transformational business outcomes. In this role, you will lead large-scale, high visibility IT initiatives, manage interdependencies across programs and portfolios, and collaborate closely with senior business and technology leaders. As a Senior Project Manager, you will provide delivery leadership, governance, and executive-level oversight, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and investment priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, with a concentration in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive IT project or program management experience required.
• Experience managing enterprise-level programs and portfolios.
• Advanced knowledge of Agile and traditional delivery frameworks.
• Fluency in English required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.

• Advanced degree preferred.
• Professional certifications, including Project Management Professional, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, Certified ScrumMaster, or SAFe, strongly preferred.
• Multilingual capabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple large-scale, complex, and high visibility IT initiatives simultaneously.
• Manage programs or portfolios of related projects, aligning deliveries with strategic business objectives.
• Apply Agile, Scaled Agile Framework (“SAFe”), and hybrid delivery models across cross-functional teams.
• Provide program and portfolio governance, financial management, and executive-level reports.
• Mentor and coach project managers and delivery teams on best practices, standards, and methodologies.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to shape roadmaps, priorities, and investment decisions.
• Proactively manage enterprise-level risks, dependencies, and resource constraints to ensure successful outcomes.
• Other duties as assigned.
