Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager Location: Cleveland, OH Job Type: Full-time, Onsite in office 5 days each week. Remote only arrangements will not be considered This senior-level role is responsible for leading complex, large-scale Information Technology initiatives. Working under the direction of the PMO Administrator and senior leadership, this position drives high-impact projects, addresses organizational and service delivery challenges, and ensures timely, effective outcomes. The role promotes cross-functional collaboration and aligns project execution with IT and executive leadership priorities. This position is distinguished from the Project Manager role by its greater level of experience and the complexity of projects managed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field and seven (7) years IT project management experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience as defined below.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification must be active
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration/project tools such as Microsoft Teams, Project, and SharePoint
  • ERP or enterprise system implementation experience (Infor preferred)
  • Experience supporting large-scale, multi-stakeholder software implementations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including basic statistical and mathematical proficiency
  • Ability to interpret technical documents, contracts, and project-related materials
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across stakeholders
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment
  • Work is primarily performed in an office environment; no supervisory responsibilities required
  • Ability to perform additional duties as assigned

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, large-scale IT projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Define project objectives, scope, and success metrics in partnership with stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Develop and execute project plans, including timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with organizational and executive priorities
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk, implementing mitigation strategies and driving issue resolution
  • Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to leadership, clients, and stakeholders
  • Oversee procurement, testing, issue resolution, and final acceptance of deliverables
  • Lead requirements gathering, kickoff sessions, and role clarity (e.g., RACI) to ensure strong project execution
  • Drive continuous improvement through performance monitoring, feedback loops, and lessons learned
  • Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to inform project delivery and innovation.
  • Coordinate UAT testing activities, including test schedules, result collection, and data validation tracking
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support project objectives and organizational priorities
