About The Position

The Senior IT Project Manager leads complex technology initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders. This role operates with a high level of autonomy, drives cross functional alignment, manages risks and dependencies, and ensures successful delivery of large scale or high visibility projects. The position requires advanced project leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to direct strategic outcomes for both internal and client facing technology efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10 or more years of IT Project Management experience.
  • Leadership experience within a company or organization.
  • Knowledge of project management processes and principles.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact with personnel up to Director level.
  • Strong client management and teamwork abilities, with comfort challenging ideas and driving consensus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast paced and evolving environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for problem solving and business rule definition.
  • Ability to work effectively with ambiguity and minimal direction.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and related technologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
  • This role requires access to information subject to U.S. export controls. The successful candidate must be a U.S. Person or be eligible for required export licenses.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies preferred.
  • Experience creating project artifacts including design documents, user stories, use cases, testing plans, conversion plans, wireframes, and implementation plans.
  • Experience with change management and solution governance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all phases of technical implementation projects from analysis through implementation and support.
  • Work with implementation and technical teams to design and deliver solutions that use the Microsoft technology stack.
  • Lead client project teams by assigning responsibilities, identifying needed resources, and monitoring progress.
  • Develop detailed project plans and schedules that address scope, approach, technical architecture, and inter team dependencies.
  • Serve as the primary client contact for project status updates, issue escalation, and deliverable management.
  • Maintain effective communication among management, users, clients, and project team members.
  • Facilitate project issue and risk management activities.
  • Ensure quality standards and milestone timelines are achieved while managing the project budget.
  • Identify, estimate, and manage change order processes for clients or third party vendors.
  • Support project budget oversight including time and expense tracking.
  • Assist with proposal development and support business development activities from prospecting through closure.
  • Engage with existing customers to identify additional needs and opportunities.
  • Maintain Dynamics CRM data for accounts, contacts, opportunities, and activities.
  • Translate client or prospect business needs into clear technical solution requirements.
  • Generate project cost estimates and plans.
  • Participate in the development and improvement of internal business processes.
  • Identify and promote best practices for deliverables, processes, and knowledge sharing.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, critical thinking, and high quality workmanship.
  • Attend company meetings, events, and team building activities.
  • Support leadership with additional tasks as assigned.
