About The Position

Provide strategic and hands-on leadership for IT personnel and lead project oversight, ensuring successful delivery of initiatives across infrastructure, development and data domains.   Directly carries out supervisory responsibilities to effectively manage personnel in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Foster a departmental culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects using Agile, Scrum or hybrid methodologies Manage task assignments, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder communications through Jira and Confluence Track and report on key performance indicators (KPI's) including delivery timelines, budget adherence, and stakeholder satisfaction Drive modernization efforts, including cloud adoption and legacy system upgrades while also recommending and implementing emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency and business value Establishes and maintains positive working relationships Maintains regular and predictable attendance Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Possesses strong data, analytical, and strategic planning skills
  • Familiarity or proficiency with company used applications and software such as Jira, Confluence, Agile, Scrum, IBM I, Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field preferred; or five years of experience in IT management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification preferred
  • CISSP, CISM, or other cybersecurity certifications preferred
  • IBM I-related certifications preferred
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud) preferred
