About The Position

The Senior IT Manager is responsible for leading and supporting enterprise technology capabilities, ensuring stable, secure, scalable, and business-aligned solutions that advance Continental’s operational and strategic objectives. This role partners closely with business and technology leadership to define strategy, prioritize initiatives, and deliver solutions that enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, innovation, and enterprise performance.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma (or GED).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of people leadership experience with direct accountability for managing employees and/or contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and develops a team of analysts, engineers, developers, and support resources responsible for delivering and sustaining enterprise technology solutions.
  • Oversees the design, implementation, enhancement, integration, and support of enterprise platforms and technology capabilities aligned to business priorities.
  • Partners with business and IT leadership to define requirements, technology roadmaps, priorities, timelines, and measurable success criteria.
  • Drives alignment with enterprise architecture, modernization initiatives, digital transformation efforts, and innovation strategies.
  • Ensures systems and platforms maintain strong governance, security, reliability, and compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.
  • Collaborates with IT Infrastructure, Security, Enterprise Architecture, and PMO teams to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Leads vendor management activities related to enterprise technologies and supporting platforms, including contract oversight and performance management.
  • Supports enterprise prioritization efforts and portfolio planning in partnership with the IT PMO and business stakeholders.
  • Promotes adoption of technology capabilities across the organization to maximize value realization and user engagement.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships across business units to ensure alignment, transparency, and measurable delivery of business value.
