The Senior IT Manager-Applications PMO is responsible for driving excellence in project delivery across the Digital Business Solutions organization. This role leads complex, high-impact programs while establishing and maintaining project management standards, processes, and governance. This Leader ensures consistency, quality, and efficiency in all projects managed by the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Acting as a strategic partner, this role collaborates with business and IT leadership to align initiatives with organizational goals and deliver measurable outcomes. You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen! Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, complex, cross-functional IT programs within the applications portfolio. Ensure alignment of program objectives with business strategy and IT roadmap. Define and enforce project management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices across the applications team. Develop and maintain templates, tools, and guidelines to standardize project execution. Manage governance processes for project initiation, tracking, and closure. Continuously evaluate and refine processes to improve efficiency and predictability. Monitor adherence to quality standards for all projects managed by the team. Conduct periodic audits and reviews to ensure compliance with defined processes and deliverable quality. Act as a key liaison between IT leadership, business units, and project teams. Facilitate communication and alignment across stakeholders to resolve issues and manage risks. Define and monitor KPIs and success metrics to track value delivered for projects and programs. Provide regular reporting on project health, risks, and performance to senior leadership. Mentor and coach project managers to enhance skills and ensure consistent application of standards. Drive training initiatives to strengthen project management competencies across the team. Establish frameworks for proactive risk identification and mitigation. Ensure timely escalation and resolution of critical issues impacting project delivery.
