About The Position

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. Overall Purpose: Coordinate and administer risk assessments and audits to ensure the integrity, efficiency, security, and compliance of the organization’s technological infrastructure, while providing recommendations and validating corrective actions. Job Contribution: An experienced professional with advanced, interdisciplinary knowledge, resolving difficult and complex issues using broad professional concepts. Guides others, applying advanced principles and company practices. Leads moderate sized projects (or parts of larger projects) with strategic value. Operates autonomously with frequent senior leadership interaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 3+ years of related experience.
  • Certification is required in some areas.
  • Strong understanding of ITGC and internal controls
  • Experience using data analytics in audit or risk assessment
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and manage competing priorities
  • Professional certifications (CIA, CISA, CPA) required in some areas or strongly preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to AI, automation, or advanced audit tools preferred

Responsibilities

  • Risk Assessment and Planning: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of IT systems to identify vulnerabilities and develop an annual IT audit plan based on identified risks.
  • Audit Execution: Perform detailed IT audits to evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls, policies, and procedures, and test operational effectiveness in areas like cybersecurity and data privacy.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure IT practices comply with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., SOX, GDPR), and stay current with relevant industry standards (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001).
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations, and document audit procedures in accordance with professional standards.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Provide advisory services on IT control best practices, utilize audit software, and perform any additional tasks as required to support the audit function and organizational objectives.
