Location: Appliance Park - Louisville, KY (On-site) The Senior Inventory & Fulfillment Systems Analyst (P3) plays a critical role in optimizing inventory health, ensuring fulfillment system stability, and enabling strong operational execution across the fulfillment network. This role partners closely with Supply Planning, Distribution, Digital Technology (DT), and Customer Fulfillment teams to ensure inventory is accurately positioned, system outputs are reliable, and fulfillment processes are supported through strong analytics and systems expertise. Operating with moderate independence, this role owns defined systems, processes, and analytical deliverables, and is expected to proactively identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities related to inventory performance and fulfillment system effectiveness. The role combines deep analytical capability with strong cross-functional collaboration to drive improved service, working capital efficiency, and execution discipline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain analytics, inventory management, fulfillment systems, or related operational systems roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to perform root cause analysis across systems and operations.
  • Solid understanding of inventory concepts, fulfillment processes, and supply chain fundamentals.
  • Proven experience translating system outputs and analytical insights into business decisions impacting inventory, service, or working capital.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
  • Experience supporting large-scale manufacturing, distribution, or omnichannel fulfillment networks.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting system implementations, enhancements, or major process transformations.
  • Experience with enterprise systems such as ERP, planning tools, WMS, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or comparable analytical tools.
  • Familiarity with SQL, SAS, Tableau, or similar reporting and analytics platforms.
  • Working knowledge and application of AI/ML concepts and solutions.
  • Understanding of inventory optimization, supply and demand planning, or replenishment logic.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Efficiency & Optimization (60%) Own and lead projects supporting key inventory performance metrics, including availability, turns, aging, and excess/obsolete exposure, while balancing service and cost objectives.
  • Analyze inventory positioning, system-driven replenishment outputs, and demand signals to identify risks, inefficiencies, and misalignments; recommend corrective actions to planning and operations teams.
  • Support working capital reduction initiatives through improved planning parameters, system logic, and execution rigor.
  • Partner with inventory planning, supply chain, and distribution teams to perform root cause analysis on inventory variances, imbalances, and service impacts, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Lead analytical preparation for monthly and quarterly inventory reviews, synthesizing trends, risks, and insights to support leadership decision-making.
  • Identify gaps in inventory-related processes, data integrity, or system behavior and collaborate cross-functionally to implement sustainable improvements.
  • Fulfillment Systems Support (15%) Own day-to-day fulfillment and inventory system health by proactively monitoring system outputs, identifying data integrity issues, and escalating defects or performance concerns as needed.
  • Lead investigation and resolution of system-related issues impacting inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, or customer delivery, coordinating closely with DT and functional stakeholders.
  • Lead or support system enhancements, upgrades, and testing efforts, including validation of business logic, test scenarios, and downstream operational impacts.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, standard work, and known-issue logs to improve system stability, knowledge sharing, and support continuity.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting (15%) Develop and maintain recurring and ad-hoc reports to support inventory, fulfillment, and system performance decision-making.
  • Analyze large, complex data sets to identify trends, risks, and key performance drivers; translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations for both operational and leadership audiences.
  • Validate system-generated metrics and dashboards against business reality, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying manual workarounds, data gaps, and inefficient processes; propose system-enabled solutions to improve clarity, consistency, and impact.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration (10%) Partner with Supply Planning, Supply Chain, Distribution, Customer Fulfillment, and DT teams to support execution and improvement initiatives related to inventory health, fulfillment performance, and system stability.
  • Communicate system impacts, analytical insights, and inventory risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects focused on fulfillment performance, inventory optimization, and systems transformation.
