About The Position

We're seeking a full-time Senior International Accountant to join our Bala Cynwyd, PA team. This role will be responsible for assisting the Director of International Accounting with oversight of various accounting groups outside of the United States. This role will work with each team to ensure completion of financial statements, audits, and implement global processes to optimize the company’s financial performance. This role also coordinates the day-to-day accounting activities with various regional accounting staff and coordinates with the United States based controllership function. Hybrid with 1 - 2 days in office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of Pivot Tables, V-lookup, and basic financial functions within Excel
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Skilled in researching, reconciling, and analyzing data across multiple systems to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information
  • Must have working knowledge in a standard accounting system
  • Highly organized and detail orientated
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once and push forward long-term projects during periods of short-term deadlines.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
  • Experience using Yardi preferred.
  • Experience with ERP’s preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Help coordinate all global projects with the regional teams in Latin American and Europe, as well as Tax and FP&A internal teams.
  • Assist in tracking statutory reporting vs US GAAP reporting differences.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of intercompany transactions and records.
  • Work closely with tax and regional accounting teams to implement transfer pricing projects.
  • Assist in the oversight of outside accounting service providers and audit firms, including budget and fee reviews.
  • Work closely with the corporate accounting team during the monthly US GAAP close process for select areas, including being the preparer of certain reconciliations within Blackline.
  • Large and unique transaction documentation and coordination with regional accounting teams to record in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Assist the Director of International Accounting in reporting to senior leadership on all global projects. Preparing PowerPoint presentations and tracking status regularly.
  • Assist in investigating and building out of Global software tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data, analyze trends, and present reports to support strategic decision-making.
