About The Position

The Manager, Internal & Executive Communications is responsible for the planning, development, and execution of enterprise-wide internal communications that support company strategy, enable change, and strengthen teammate engagement and culture. This role serves as a strategic communications partner to senior leaders, with responsibility for day-to-day teammate communications and higher-level executive, Town Hall, and change communications, serving as a central point of coordination for internal messaging across the enterprise. Requirements

  • Superb writing and editing skills.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting executive communications and enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Experience leading communications for organizational change or transformation.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and messaging skills.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and advise leaders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating independently.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Senior Director, Communications to develop and own the internal communications strategy, aligned to company priorities and culture goals.
  • Lead annual and quarterly internal communications planning, including key initiatives, audience segmentation, channel strategy, and measurement.
  • Ensure internal communications are proactive, coordinated, and aligned across departments.
  • Lead executive internal communications, including CEO and executive leadership messaging, enterprise updates, and leadership announcements.
  • Plan and execute company-wide Town Halls, including content planning, agenda development, messaging flow, speaker preparation, visuals, and follow-up communications.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing message development, editing, and communications guidance.
  • Design and execute change communications strategies for organizational changes, system implementations, and transformation initiatives.
  • Partner with HR, IT, and other teams to support adoption, understanding, and engagement.
  • Develop FAQs, leader toolkits, and manager resources to support effective cascades.
  • Oversee content strategy and execution across internal channels, including teammate app/platform, newsletters, leadership emails, and campaigns.
  • Establish and maintain editorial standards, governance, and best practices for internal communications.
  • Ensure internal messaging from all departments is brand-aligned.
  • Lead internal community and engagement communications, including teammate campaigns, culture initiatives, recognition programs, and values-driven communications.
  • Partner with Government Affairs and Community Affairs team on community engagement plans.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional partners to understand communications needs and provide strategic guidance.
  • Act as a thought partner to departments on how best to communicate with teammates.
  • Support leaders and managers with templates, tools, and best practices to improve communication effectiveness.
  • Define and track internal communications metrics to assess reach, engagement, and effectiveness.
  • Use data and employee feedback to refine strategy and execution.
  • Monitor internal communications trends and emerging best practices.
