About The Position

Saab’s Surveillance U.S. Division in East Syracuse, NY is seeking a Senior Integration and Test Engineer to support integration, validation and demonstration for our Unmanned Airborne Early Warning (UAEW) and Airborne Multifunction Unmanned Sensor for Exploration (AMUSE) program. The successful candidate will: Support integration activities, troubleshooting and regression testing. Conduct dry runs and formal test events with customer/affiliate participation. Identify, generate and validate test tools as necessary. Develop integration & test plans and procedures and supporting test scripts. Write test reports documenting the results of formal test events. Analyze requirements and develop verification strategies for those requirements. Execute software and/or hardware testing at various levels of the build process (e.g. unit, subsystem, and system). Work closely with our Saab AB affiliates as the team continues to integrate at the system level. Participate in AMUSE development, integration, validation, demonstration activities. Support transfer of technology activities with Saab AB.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related discipline is required.
• 10+ years of experience in a technical/engineering environment.
• Familiarity with Saab products, processes and customers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate across disciplines and organizations.
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to travel up to San Diego to support on-site integration efforts
• Ability to travel to Sweden to support Saab integration/ToT efforts
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
