We’re looking for an experienced Senior Integration Engineer to join our growing Integrations & Automations team at ŌURA. In this role, you will partner closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into well-scoped technical solutions, and build reliable, scalable integrations and automations using our iPaaS platform, Workato. You will play a hands-on role in optimizing business workflows, enabling seamless data flow across our cloud SaaS ecosystem, and improving operational efficiency through thoughtful automation. This is a senior individual contributor role, focused on execution, technical problem-solving, and development. Success in this role requires strong Workato expertise, a pragmatic approach to solution design, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners. This is a remote US role with a slight preference for candidates based in New York, Boston, or other Eastern time zone location.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years professional experience with a focus on engineering, automation, api’s and cloud solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience with the Workato platform, including building complex workflows and automations.
  • Expertise in system integrations (iPaaS, APIs, or direct point-to-point), with a focus on API-driven business process automation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent on-the-job experience.
  • Attention to detail, strong problem solving abilities, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems quickly, take initiative, and work independently.
  • Ability to work across global operation time zones.

Nice To Haves

  • Workato certifications (I, II, III)
  • Previous experience in solution architecture roles.
  • Familiarity with AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, and S3.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the design, development, and implementation of integration and automation solutions using Workato, connecting ERP, CRM, HRIS, and other cloud-based systems.
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate business needs into well-scoped technical solutions, and turn concepts into reliable production-ready integrations.
  • Collaborate with and help coordinate work delivered by external development partners, while also building and maintaining key in-house integrations.
  • Maintain and enhance existing integration workflows to ensure data integrity, security, scalability, and performance.
  • Manage integration work in Jira, and create and maintain clear technical and project documentation in Confluence.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to business analysts and engineers, promoting platform best practices.
  • Stay current on integration technologies and best practices
  • Ensure compliance by following data security and privacy by guidelines.
