About The Position

At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable. As a part of a hardworking team of engineers and project managers, you'll be responsible for second stage development testing and recurring integrated test. In this role, you'll engage with the test planning and execution teams to ensure our stage-level testing supports our verification and validation plans, managing key program metrics including budget, schedule, and resources. You'll also work closely with design leads & other program managers to generate status reports, resource plans, and other key Technical Program Metrics (TPMs). Requirements

  • B.S. in Engineering or technical degree
  • 5 or more years of Project Management experience
  • 10+ years’ experience leading projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with effective presentation abilities
  • Strong analytic skills with an acute attention to detail
  • Comfortable performing in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • M.B.A.
  • 15+ year of demonstrated ability in a Production or Test Environment
  • 10+of proven experience in test planning an execution
  • Direct experience with large aerospace development as a Cost Account Manager or Program Manager
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
  • Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
  • Lean Manufacturing Certifications
  • Self-starter, strong bias for action
  • Experience with Primavera (P6), MS Project, Confluence, Jira, Tableau, SQL, MySQL, Power Query, Power Pivot
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
