About The Position

We are searching for an experienced Senior Instrument & Controls Engineer to join our growing Process Industries team in Peachtree Corners, GA; Atlanta/Smyrna, GA; or Charlotte, NC. . The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of relevant experience and a passion for growth, collaboration, and innovation. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing instrumentation and controls packages for both batch and continuous process chemical industry facilities. These projects will serve clients across the United States and will span multiple markets and geographies, providing opportunities to expand knowledge and deepen expertise in design. We are looking for an independent self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, dynamic environment and is eager to take on new challenges.

Requirements

• 15+ years of related experience
• Experience in the consulting design industry at a consulting engineering (A&E) firm
• Experience in the chemical industries with example projects that can be disclosed and discussed
• Ability to specify instrumentation and perform sizing calculations
• Ability to specify system controls and familiarity with industry best practices for the control of chemical industry controls
• Ability to lead an engineering team through the project development cycle
• Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work
• Ability to interact with clients, providing engineering recommendation in a consultant role
• Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
