About The Position
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Community Practice, is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Senior Instructor to CU 5280 OBGYN, a Community Practice office located in Highlands Ranch. We are seeking a skilled generalist to provide comprehensive clinical care in both obstetrics and gynecology, including inpatient and outpatient services, as well as surgery. As a member of the CU 5280 OBGYN practice, you will collaborate with a team of providers, sharing service coverage- including night and weekend calls at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital. While the position is primarily clinical, there are opportunities to contribute to the education of medical residents and students, supporting the next generation of clinicians.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active or unrestricted Colorado medical license
- Current BLS certifications
- 5 years of clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Nice To Haves
- 7 years of clinical OBGYN experience post-residency
- Experience in clinical education
- Knowledge of EPIC EMR
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in obstetrics and gynecology, including outpatient visits, inpatient care, and surgical procedures.
- Participate in call coverage, including nights and weekends
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and coordinated care across the practice
- Supervise and teach medical students in both clinical and procedural settings.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Contribute to community outreach and patient education efforts
