Position: Senior Installation Team Lead - AIT (Alteration Installation Team) Join our National Security Sector supporting shipboard installations both locally and abroad. This hands-on leadership role involves extended travel, physical work, and a dynamic schedule (up to 6 days/week, 10 hours/day). Federal holidays observed. What You'll Do Lead and manage Level 1 & 2 team members, including timecards, training, and performance feedback Support the Project Engineer with personnel, planning, and execution of installations Oversee subcontractors and ensure compliance with contractual and safety standards Coordinate with OSIC, ship's force, and customers to meet milestones and resolve conflicts Maintain documentation, QA tracking, and inspection records Ensure 100% customer satisfaction through clear communication and reliable execution Ready to unleash your potential? Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree + 4 years' experience (or Master's + 2 years); equivalent experience considered
  • 4+ years leading AIT operations
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work overhead
  • Familiarity with PPE, shipyard safety, and cable installation
  • US Citizenship, valid driver's license, and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • OSHA 10, VSRA certification
  • Shipyard experience
  • Microsoft Project proficiency
  • Fiber optic and connector qualifications
