About The Position

The Senior Infrastructure & Cyber Security Engineer plays a key role in executing assigned IT tasks. This includes taking technical ownership of core IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity platforms supporting our dairy manufacturing plants, engineering networks, and warehousing operations.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience across Windows infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity.
  • Demonstrated experience owning platforms, not just administering them.
  • Strong expertise in: Active Directory and Group Policy, Enterprise networking and firewall technologies, and Endpoint security, SIEM, and vulnerability management.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, warehousing, or industrial environments.
  • Strong PowerShell and automation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight for physical access and door security systems as part of a unified access governance approach.
  • Collaborate with facilities, engineering, and operations teams to ensure system reliability and security.
  • Serve as a technical mentor to infrastructure, network, and security team members.
  • Establish and maintain clear standards, documentation, and best practices.
  • Influence outcomes through partnership with: plant engineering, maintenance teams, warehouse, operations leadership, corporate IT and security leadership.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, vendor selection, and long-term planning.
  • Define and enforce technical standards for infrastructure, networking, and security platforms.
  • Approve or reject architectural designs that impact security, reliability, or plant operations.
  • Prioritize security and infrastructure remediation efforts based on risk and operational impact.
  • Ensure consistent access governance across corporate IT, plant, engineering, and cloud environments.
  • Partner with application owners to ensure secure identity integrations.
  • Provide technical ownership of the Microsoft 365 environment which includes Entra, Purview, Exchange-Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Manage MFA to endure secure user access.
  • Define standards for collaboration, file sharing, and data protection.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and lifecycle management for cloud collaboration tools.
  • Own the design and security posture of enterprise, warehouse, and engineering networks.
  • Provide technical leadership for: LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD WAN connectivity, Firewall and VPN architecture, and Network segmentation between IT, OT, and engineering systems
  • Serve as escalation support for production-impacting network issues.
  • Coordinate with ISPs and technology vendors across multiple sites.
  • Own the security posture of infrastructure and endpoint environments.
  • Provide leadership for: Endpoint protection and detection, SIEM and centralized logging, vulnerability management and remediation prioritization and email and web security controls.
  • Lead infrastructure-focused incident response and post-incident reviews.
  • Balance cyber risk reduction with manufacturing uptime and safety requirements.
  • Make technical decisions during incidents to protect safety, uptime, and data.
  • Recommend tooling, vendor changes, and modernization initiatives to leadership.
