About The Position

The Senior Infrastructure Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s information technology (IT) infrastructure to ensure the availability, performance, and security of systems and networks. This position works in collaboration with the Director of Technology Services and other Infrastructure Administrators to support and standardize infrastructure operations across the organization. This role requires the ability to operate independently, exercise sound technical judgment, and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in IT infrastructure administration or a similar role.
  • Experience supporting distributed or multi-site network environments.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, including Azure and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Practical experience installing or supporting network hardware (e.g., firewalls, switches, wireless access points).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Access Control and Camera systems a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead installation, configuration, and support of standardized IT infrastructure across Redwood family properties, including office networks, laptops, desktops, printers, and networking components.
  • Serve as a Level 1 - 3 Helpdesk for infrastructure-related issues.
  • Coordinate and execute site-level infrastructure deployments related to property acquisitions, rehabs, and office relocations.
  • Administer Windows cloud-based solutions, including Azure and Microsoft 365 (e.g., Entra ID, endpoint provisioning, shared resources).
  • Ensure system availability and performance through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and lifecycle management of infrastructure hardware.
  • Support the Director of Technology Services in enforcing security policies, including access controls, patch management, and data protection.
  • Assist in developing, documenting, and enforcing standardized infrastructure deployment practices across RC sites.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of infrastructure hardware and technology assets across the property portfolio.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced infrastructure-related issues across distributed site environments.
  • Lead infrastructure onboarding for newly acquired properties and manage employee onboarding/offboarding processes
  • Maintain documentation of infrastructure configurations, installation procedures, and deployment standards.
  • Support IT projects including migrations, upgrades, and site deployments.
