About The Position

As a Senior Influencer Strategist, you’ll bring cultural insights, thought leadership, and strategic thinking to help lead programming on brands across the agency, with a lot of opportunity for growth and visibility. You’ll also manage all aspects of integrated influencer campaigns, from development of strategies to oversight of execution, collaborating with PR, social, and paid teams to ensure holistic programming. You’ll lead and inspire junior staffers; serve as a client counselor; and, most importantly, work with a very talented, very collaborative, and inspiring team that will have your back no matter what. Key responsibilities include:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5-6 years of influencer experience working in an agency setting or in-house
  • Experience managing and mentoring a team of 1-2 direct reports
  • Strong foundation in influencer relations, including experience creating influencer campaign strategies and execution of all components
  • Experience in managing/working with third party influencer vendors/networks
  • Solid understanding of paid media and owned channels; experience working in an IAT setting is a plus
  • Experience in client management, and proven ability to lead client communications
  • Strong writing skills
  • Strong analytical skills and experience tracking and interpreting data
  • Proven ability to effectively organize multiple deadlines across accounts and teams
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a team-oriented environment
  • Creative, strategic thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive and flexible attitude

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with influencer tools, such as Creator IQ
  • Experience and/or passion for CPG and home brands
  • In the know with cultural and industry trends

Responsibilities

  • Developing integrated influencer campaign strategies, based on business/IAT (integrated agency team) needs, opportunities presented by ever-changing social landscape and previous learnings
  • Leading influencer relations, including partner identification and vetting, outreach, negotiations, contracting, briefing, content review process, and budgeting
  • In partnership with our Analytics team, you’ll lead reporting that shows the impact of our influencer programming alongside actionable learnings
  • Working closely with IAT partners to deliver campaign POVs to clients, and negotiate necessary rights with influencers to deliver assets according to plan
  • Actively providing industry updates with the opportunity to take lead on client POVs that can be repurposed across the practice/agency
  • Serving as client lead on influencer campaigns, including written communications and presenting on calls/meetings
  • Maintaining strong connections with influencers and their agents
  • Working with junior teammates on campaigns and serve as their coach in the influencer space
