Requirements

  • Exceptional customer relations skills and ability to interact with various levels of customer and industry staff
  • Established relationships with or participation in telecom industry forums or associations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Solid collaboration skills and detail oriented
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, from technical staff to the CEO
  • Comfortable working in a changing environment with tight schedules and varied assignments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Experience in presenting to large groups
  • B.S. with 10+ years of experience in carrier operations, telephone number administration, number portability, regulatory, and/or related industry forums and associations
  • Up to 50% travel may be necessary
  • U.S. Citizenship Required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working on software systems
  • Background in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation through working with end users, engineers, and developers
  • B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for representing iconectiv and its services at various industry forums, in customer engagements, and at various trade events.
  • Shares knowledge of iconectiv services and products with customers and industry bodies.
  • Engages with various levels in the iconectiv organization–from the executive management team to the technical team–to analyze problems and to develop solutions and strategies.
  • Includes supporting existing production systems and services.
  • Responsible for representing industry and customer voices in the decision-making process and overall strategy of iconectiv to develop existing and future products and services.
  • Responsible for navigating external engagements related to implementation of strategic initiatives.
