Senior Industrial Designer
About The Position

We have spent the last 18 months building a talented team, securing capital, and validating our technology. We are now seeking passionate individuals to join us in the next phase of our growth. We are looking for an Industrial Designer to lead the design of our next-generation robots, accessories and data collection systems. You’ll collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical and software teams to identify constraints and design hardware that are friendly and aesthetic. You will define what the world where robots are everywhere would look like.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in industrial design with a track record of shipping consumer products at scale
- Expertise in CAD
- Proven ability to take designs from prototype through mass production
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working with mechanical, electrical and software teams
Responsibilities
- Lead industrial design for robotic and wearable devices from concept through production
- Rapidly iterate through different designs using sketching, 3D printing and renders
- Create creative concepts for future projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and integrate them elegantly into the design
