The Personnel Bureau is comprised of a large staff of professional, analytical, administrative and support personnel responsible for the recruiting, hiring, upgrading, and promoting of all civilian and uniformed personnel, uniformed and civilian resignations and retirements, and interagency transfers. The Personnel Bureau is seeking an Administrative Staff Analyst (NM) who will serve as a Senior Human Resources Policy Advisor responsible for the management, administration and complex coordination of personnel programs, policies and procedures. The Senior Human Resources Policy Advisor will serve as an expert advisor on all matters related to recruitment and hiring of civilian personnel, within the guidelines of civil service rules and regulations, and the advancement of civilian members of service through civil service promotions and discretionary upgrades and designations; and ensure that staff are adequately trained and cross-trained.
