About The Position

Conax Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to support our fast-paced, complex manufacturing operation. This role partners closely with leadership and union representatives to manage employee relations, payroll compliance, and HR system administration (Paycom). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and thrives in a high-accountability environment focused on accuracy, compliance, and employee engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing; union experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Paycom or similar HRIS required.
• Solid knowledge of employment law, payroll compliance, and HR operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned departments, supporting employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
• Partner with union leadership to maintain positive labor relations and ensure adherence to the collective bargaining agreement.
• Oversee payroll compliance, ensuring accurate timekeeping, wage calculations, and adherence to federal, state, and contractual requirements.
• Act as the HR system specialist for Paycom—manage data accuracy, workflows, reporting, and user training.
• Support full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and employee development initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO).
• Track and report HR metrics, drive process improvements, and support site-wide engagement initiatives.
