About The Position

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for Manufacturing Operations in Aurora, Ohio, is a strategic role responsible for driving HR initiatives and supporting business objectives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position partners with operational leaders to deliver comprehensive HR solutions that foster a high-performance culture, ensure compliance, and promote employee engagement and development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years as an HRBP supporting manufacturing or industrial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and best practices in manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence leaders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with manufacturing leadership to align HR strategies with business goals, driving organizational effectiveness and workforce productivity.
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to management and employees regarding employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Talent Management: Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, succession planning, and workforce development efforts to ensure the site attracts, retains, and develops top talent.
  • Performance Management: Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, evaluations, and coaching to drive continuous improvement.
  • Change Management: Support organizational change initiatives, including process improvements, restructuring, and cultural transformation, ensuring effective communication and employee buy-in.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, particularly those relevant to manufacturing operations.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Collaborate with the head of Total Rewards on compensation strategies, benefits administration, and reward programs tailored to manufacturing workforce needs.
  • Health & Safety: Partner with Environmental Health & Safety teams to promote a safe work environment and support wellness initiatives.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Champion DE&I initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace and support continuous improvement in diversity representation across the organization.
