About The Position

Northwest Respiratory Services is hiring a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our teams and help shape a positive employee experience. In this role, you’ll work closely with leaders and employees to answer questions, provide guidance, and help resolve workplace concerns. You’ll also play an important role in keeping our organization compliant with state, federal, and accreditation requirements.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of direct HR experience
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems- direct Paycom experience is a plus!
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and act as a trusted advisor to managers and employee
  • Proven success within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively and efficiently
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience within a multi-state organization

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee employee relations matters across multi‑state locations, serving as a strategic advisor to leaders on investigations, performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution while ensuring consistent, compliant application of employment laws and company policies.
  • Support HR onboarding efforts for new employees and lead new hire orientation, ensuring a positive, well‑structured introduction to the organization.
  • Drive HR strategy and budget optimization by managing and analyzing pre‑employment costs, labor expenses, consulting fees, and external recruiting spend to maximize efficiency, control costs, and support business objectives.
  • Ensure HR compliance across a multi‑state environment by advising leaders on federal, state, and local employment laws, monitoring regulatory changes, and promoting consistent, compliant HR practices and policies.
  • Lead manager development and succession planning efforts by coaching leaders, identifying high‑potential talent, building development plans, and partnering with leadership to ensure a strong and sustainable leadership pipeline.
  • Oversee HR and benefits reporting, ensuring accurate and timely compliance in partnership with HR, Payroll, and external vendors to meet all regulatory and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain employee personnel, medical, and DOT files including compliance
  • Update and maintain employee handbook and recommend any updates to internal company policies.
  • Manage termination process from exit interviews to offboarding paperwork
  • Represent company in personnel-related hearings and investigations
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
