About The Position

The Senior HRIS Analyst will be a key member of the ERP Systems team at Larry H. Miller Senior Health. This person will be a subject matter expert in Workday and will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Workday platform across our business platforms. As the primary Workday partner to the People and Culture team, this person will support talent, benefits, learning, compensation, and employee experience. Additionally, the Senior HRIS Analyst will collaborate often with Operations and IT to deliver a reliable, scalable Workday environment that supports our mission of providing exceptional care to the residents we serve.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience in a production environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise across HCM Core, Security, Reporting, Benefits, Learning, Talent Management, and Compensation.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining complex business processes and employee-facing Workday workflows.
  • Proficiency with EIBs for data loads, corrections, and integrations.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose configuration issues and deliver solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong partnerships with P&C and collaborate across Operations, IT, and other business functions.
  • Required vision includes close, distance, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
  • Maintain regular attendance and timeliness as set forth within the work schedule designated by the department supervisor/manager.

Nice To Haves

  • Workday Pro certification(s) in one or more functional areas.
  • Experience in a healthcare, senior living, or multi-entity organization.
  • Familiarity with Workday Payroll, Integrations (Studio/Core Connectors), or Prism Analytics.
  • Experience supporting Workday in a post-acquisition or expansion context.
  • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and experience working within Scrum or Agile frameworks for project delivery and iterative system improvements.
  • Experience supporting or contributing to a full Workday implementation, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and go-live activities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and primary configurator across core Workday modules: HCM, Security, Reporting, Benefits, Learning, Talent, and Compensation.
  • Design, build, and maintain complex business processes (BPs), ensuring alignment with HR policy, compliance requirements, and operational workflows.
  • Develop and sustain a library of EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder) for inbound and outbound data loads, including mass updates, open enrollment feeds, and integrations with downstream systems.
  • Manage role-based and domain-based security administration, conducting periodic access reviews and maintaining least-privilege principles.
  • Build and maintain standard and custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support P& C and Operations decision-making.
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business questions into actionable Workday reporting solutions using report writer and composite reports.
  • Support audit and compliance reporting across all supported modules.
  • Lead efforts to optimize and elevate the employee experience within Workday, including self-service configuration, notifications, and guided workflows.
  • Evaluate Workday feature releases (bi-annual) and lead regression testing, stakeholder communication, and deployment of relevant updates.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes through automation, integration enhancements, or configuration improvements.
  • Serve as the primary Workday partner to P&C across talent acquisition, benefits, learning, compensation, and workforce management — translating People and Culture needs into scalable Workday solutions.
  • Partner with People & Culture, Operations, IT, and other business stakeholders to deliver on enterprise Workday initiatives.
  • Serve as a functional lead or subject matter expert on Workday-related projects, including new module implementations, acquisitions, and system expansions.
  • Translate complex technical configurations into clear stakeholder communications and training materials.
  • Support change management efforts and end-user enablement as the organization scales
  • Protect the legal, financial, and moral well-being of Larry H. Miller Senior Health.
