About The Position

The Senior HR Technology Analyst is a critical member of our Talent Operations & Rewards function within the Human Resources organization. This role is responsible for maintaining our System of Record (SoR), and all HR Systems and Tools in our toolbox, ensuring global people data integrity. Our Senior HR Technology Analyst will operate in a collaborative hands on manner, bringing human capital systems expertise, attention to detail and comfort balancing company readiness with strategic ideas. The ideal candidate is passionate about data and leveraging technology to create a seamless employee experience. While reporting to the Senior Director, Total Rewards & HR Technology, you will partner closely with Talent Acquisition & Intelligence, HR Business Partners, Finance and IT to ensure a smooth transition between the candidate and employee experience; one which is sustainable and scalable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-5 years of experience in an analytical role within Human Resources
  • Experience administering or supporting HR technology platforms

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using ADP Workforce Now, ADP Celergo, Greenhouse (ATS), Replicon, Workday Talent Marketplace
  • Experience in the life sciences industry, especially within small-to-mid‑size global organizations
  • Experience participating in, or leading, HR integrations (payroll, SSO, background check vendors, etc.)
  • Experience building dashboards in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or ADP reporting
  • Understanding global HR processes and compliance

Responsibilities

  • Serve as day‑to‑day administrator for the company’s HR systems (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, ADP Celergo, Greenhouse, Breathe, Replicon, etc.)
  • Ensure accurate configuration, reconfiguration, data integrity, and tier-1 level user support
  • Maintain organizational structure, job architecture, compensation fields, and security roles
  • Support system upgrades, new module implementations and integrations across HR, talent, and payroll platforms
  • Troubleshoot system issues and liaise with vendors and internal IT, as needed
  • Uphold global compliance associated with data housing and reporting; including GDPR, Affirmative Action Plans, and adherence to all record retention regulations
  • Participate in the ‘Process Mapping’ of current HR processes at KalVista
  • Identify opportunities to streamline, and/or automate, HR process frameworks
  • Document processes, SOPs, and system configurations to support scalability and cross‑team alignment
  • Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition & Intelligence team to optimize the Applicant Tracking Technology, including workflows, templates, requisition structures, interview scheduling tools, and compliance reporting
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition & Intelligence leader to: Cross-check consistent data capture across the talent lifecycle to support analytics and forecasting
  • Build and maintain ‘Talent Operations Storytelling’ through dashboarding. Dashboard data to include:
  • Talent Acquisition Performance Metrics
  • Headcount
  • Turnover trends
  • Pnboarding metrics
  • Global demographic reporting
  • ESG
  • Underrepresentation & Outreach
  • Provide data insights that help guide talent strategy, hiring prioritization, and organizational planning
  • Ensure accurate and real-time people data, securing our System of Record as one source of truth
  • Partner with corporate controllers and financial leaders to ensure a positive candidate and employee experience as data feeds to payroll processing and time tracking management tools
  • Support systems workflows during preboarding, onboarding and offboarding
  • Ensure timely execution of employee lifecycle transactions
  • Establish a strong partnership with our colleagues in IT and Operations to ensure a positive experience, and data diligence, between offer extension and exit
