The Senior HR Systems Manager, Workday role is a dynamic, working manager role responsible for leading a team of Compensation, Payroll, and Time Tracking analysts while driving the design, implementation, and maintenance of Workday solutions to meet organizational needs. Reporting directly to the Director of Workday Solutions, this role will also support Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures (MA&D) work and play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence and strategic alignment. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, leadership, and HR systems knowledge to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of Workday solutions across the organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of Human Capital Management to include Workday configuration experience and 5+ years of managerial experience; or an advanced degree with 5+ years of Human Capital Management to include Workday configuration experience and 5+ years of managerial experience
  • Written and verbal English language proficiency

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Information Systems
  • Experience working with HR systems and desirably, Workday Pro or Partner certification
  • Experience implementing Workday
  • Experience working cross-functionally
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, ability to collaborate, analyze data & systems, generate ideas, and set high standards focusing on the customer while fostering diversity & inclusion in everything that you do.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and mentor a team of analysts specializing in Compensation, Payroll, and Time Tracking.
  • Manage performance, develop talent, foster engagement, and promote inclusion across the team.
  • Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide coaching to meet departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Prioritize strategic and operational initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Support employee development efforts through regular 1:1s, feedback, and career guidance.
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Expertise, Operations, and IT to design, implement, and maintain core Workday functionalities.
  • Recommend, plan, and execute system improvements, enhancements, and new features to meet HR and organizational needs.
  • Ensure the successful integration of Workday solutions during Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures (MA&D) activities.
  • Analyze and optimize Workday capabilities to drive workforce productivity and effective HR service delivery.
  • Provide consultation on HR programs, policies, and practices, leveraging system knowledge to improve processes.
  • Develop and communicate business plans, turning strategic objectives into actionable results.
  • Lead initiatives to address complex, undefined problems by gathering and analyzing detailed information.
  • Drive innovation by developing new objectives to improve operational efficiency.
  • Act as a key liaison between HR, IT, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
  • Influence across functions and business units to balance divergent objectives and achieve cooperation.
