With expertise across industries, we combine engineering know-how with hands-on experience to create systems that solve complex challenges and keep businesses running smoothly.   We are seeking a proactive and strategic Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team at our Chalfont headquarters. This person will be responsible for proactively identifying improvement opportunities and effectively carrying projects through the entire life cycle - inception, implementation, and sustainment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Labor Relations or related field required.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Human Resources, with least 5 years in a business partner role.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting associates in a manufacturing environment and/or high volume of field-based employees is a plus.
  • Experience using lean management tools when problem-solving is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Standardization of Employee Onboarding Experience
  • Support implementation of an impactful on-boarding process that ensures a positive experience for new associates over their first 90 days
  • Design and enhance structured onboarding programs to ensure new hires are set up for long-term success
  • Partner with managers to create role-specific onboarding plans
  • Facilitate new hire orientation sessions and onboarding touchpoints
  • Measure onboarding effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning
  • Talent Development and Performance Management Programs
  • Partner with functional leaders and broader HR team to build career development resources for associates.
  • Support performance management process, partnering with managers to strengthen coaching and feedback skills as needed.
  • Work with key stakeholders to establish a succession planning program, including a standardized process of identifying high-potential individuals, and standard approach to individual development plans
  • Support managers in navigating critical conversations and if needed, implementing Performance Improvement Plans or Accountability Plans
  • Compliance and Regulations
  • Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as industry-specific regulations
  • Stay informed of changes in labor laws and regulations that may impact the organization, and proactively communicate any needed changes to operating norms
  • Have a bias for action with implementing regulatory or compliance corrections HR
  • Recommend HR policy updates as needed, providing necessary guidance and interpretation to stakeholders.
  • Assist with keeping the employee handbook up to date annually.
  • Conduct regular meetings with business leaders to discuss workforce planning and identify HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Lend support as needed when administering and managing LOA process and accommodation requests (ADA, FMLA, STD, LTD)
  • Employee Relations
  • Serve as an unbiased resource for leaders and associates with regards to conflict resolution.
  • Work with managers and employees to help solve any employee relations or people related challenges, keeping in mind precedence and business needs
  • Promptly handle investigations to identify corrective solutions that will mitigate risk
  • Provide 1:1 performance management guidance to leaders to ensure they are appropriately coaching, counseling, developing, or disciplining employees.
