About The Position

STV is seeking a Senior Highway Design Task Lead to join our dynamic Chicago Transportation Group. You will lead major projects, mentor junior staff, and serve as a technical expert in a collaborative, flexible environment. What You'll Do at STV: Lead and produce high-quality highway/roadway design plans that meet client expectations and adhere to budgets and schedules Serve as the go-to technical resource for internal staff and provide guidance on design standards and best practices Collaborate with external design disciplines to ensure seamless project integration Oversee technical execution and maintain accountability across multiple projects Assist project managers with planning, budgeting, and client coordination Supervise and mentor engineers, CAD staff, and junior team members Manage multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards Stay current with IDOT/Tollway guidelines and evolving design procedures What We are seeking in our candidates: BS in Civil Engineering PE in Illinois 10+ years in highway design; Familiar with IDOT/Tollway standards Proficiency in MicroStation, Geopak, InRoads, or OpenRoads Designer Why Join STV? Requirements

  • BS in Civil Engineering
  • PE in Illinois
  • 10+ years in highway design
  • Familiar with IDOT/Tollway standards
