About The Position

WWT is seeking a Contract Task Lead to support the requirements of the Air Force Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP). This initiative surrounds the alignment of all Air Force systems in the Air Force Information Network (AFIN). Reviewing cybersecurity programs aligning with the CSSP. Providing guidance to system owners on the requirements for alignment.

Requirements

  • 6+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor of Science Degree or Higher in Cybersecurity or related field
  • 8140/DCWF Certification
  • IAT II Certification
  • Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with potential for higher read-ins
  • Knowledge of national and international laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity.
  • Knowledge of specific operational impacts of cybersecurity lapses.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles used to manage risks
  • Knowledge of risk management processes
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery continuity of operations plans
  • Knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies
  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements
  • Knowledge of enterprise incident response program, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data security standards
  • Understanding of eMass and accreditation packages used by the DoD

Responsibilities

  • Assess the effectiveness of security controls.
  • Apply security policies to meet security objectives of the system.
  • Assess all the configuration management (change configuration/release management) processes.
  • Develop procedures and test fail-over for system operations transfer to an alternate site based on system availability requirements.
  • Analyze and report organizational and system security posture trends.
  • Ensure all systems security operations and maintenance activities are properly documented and updated as necessary.
  • Ensure cybersecurity-enabled products or other compensating security control technologies reduce identified risk to an acceptable level.
  • Assess adequate access controls based on principles of least privilege and need-to-know.
  • Implement security measures to resolve vulnerabilities, mitigate risks and recommend security changes to system or system components as needed.
  • Implement system security measures in accordance with established procedures to ensure confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation.
  • Mitigate/correct security deficiencies identified during security/certification testing and/or recommend risk acceptance for the appropriate senior leader or authorized representative.
  • Verify minimum security requirements are in place for all applications.
  • Plan and recommend modifications or adjustments based on exercise results or system environment.
  • Properly document all systems security implementation, operations and maintenance activities and update as necessary.
  • Provides cybersecurity recommendations to leadership based on significant threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Verify and update security documentation reflecting the application/system security design features.
  • Manage and control all aspects of CSSP on boarding functions. Act as focal point for any issues concerning CSSP Alignments and meet directly with System Owners to address/resolve issues.
  • Create and update Standard Operating Procedures and Checklists to ensure timely and accurate procedures are in place and adhered to by ISSOs, Cyber Security Analysts, Data Analysts.
  • Conduct newcomer orientation on newly assigned personnel, initiate the process for new accounts for the following: NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, AFSCI, ELICSAR, Tanium/ARAD, VMTDR, and eMASS via DD FM 2875. Process all associated documentation and certifications to the appropriate offices for coordination and signatures to include 688th CW Security Managers and appropriate Mission Owners
  • Conduct initial training on all newly assigned personnel and direct/conduct recurring weekly and monthly training to address issues affecting productivity or updates/changes to established procedures.
  • Monitor 16AF CSSP Organizational email accounts on NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS environments. Provide timely responses to System Owners requesting updates on CSSP Alignment request and all other inquiries. Direct/forward email traffic to On-boarding members for additional assistance.
  • Track weekly, monthly, annual metrics on behalf of 688th CW Wing Commander and 16th AF/A6O for Full Alignments, Provisional Alignments, and Security Validation and Enterprise Incident Response completions. Provide weekly WAR metrics for briefing purposes.
  • Work with AF CSSP signatories to address any changes in procedures and or address issues with system submission. Conducting remedial training on areas of concern and provide constructive feedback and enforce corrective measures.
  • All other duties as defined by CSSP.
