This role leads the Business Management function across both Hyundai and Genesis, translating dealership financial and operational performance data into executive‑level insights and reporting. This role operates end‑to-end—from dealer performance reviews to executive presentations—playing a critical role in assessing network financial health, guiding performance investigations, and supporting franchise qualification decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master's degree a plus.
  • Ten or more years of related experience with at least 5 years evaluating automotive industry financial statements.
  • Two or more years in a supervisory role including performance management, coaching, training, and leadership development required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and project management skills, enabling effective collaboration, clear presentation of insights, and successful execution of cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, PC applications, AI applications, Tableau is a plus.

  • Understanding of dealership operations and business management practices and systems is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the policy and process of dealer financial statement reporting/collection, and accuracy.
  • Develops and manages field-based programs and monthly financial reporting to evaluate dealer network performance, identify trends, forecasts, and areas of concern or opportunity, and track performance improvement.
  • Provides counsel to corporate and region leadership on matters of financial performance and potential effects of policy/program changes.
  • Create, manage, and communicate financial analysis and consulting training for regional personnel.
  • Working with region and dealership management, conducts full-scale operational reviews to identify opportunities for targeted performance improvements.
  • Consults with the regions and dealers direct on financial process mapping and recommend profit performance and operational enhancements.
  • Monitors and tracks the results of dealership financial action plans, and where appropriate, develops metrics for tracking process improvement.
  • Maintains ongoing communication with key dealership and region personnel to ensure that process improvement recommendations are implemented effectively and to identify resources or support needed.
  • Oversee production of executive and regional financial reports, presentations, special projects, and analyses to support performance objectives.
  • Coordinate with Dealer Agreements department to develop Pro Forma business plans to identify dealer profit performance improvement opportunities.
  • Manages the strategic development, enhancements, and maintenance of dealership uniform accounting system (dealer financial statement), and the distribution of notifications to Regions regarding Dealer compliance with financial statement reporting standards.
  • Provides information to Executives, HMA, GMA and HMNA departments concerning specific dealership financial conditions and operations.
  • Communicates with Staff and Regions regarding dealer profitability results, financial statement reporting, analysis, interpretation, problems, and changes.
  • All special projects and new activities / projects as assigned
  • Position has authority to make day-to-day decisions that will resolve dealer issues that arise within policy and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate (written and orally) the analysis for the decisions made.
  • Additional authority as given by Director Dealer Network Development.
