About The Position

Safetec of America is seeking a highly organized, detail-focused Senior Graphic Designer to lead creative projects and oversee two designers on our Marketing team. This role blends hands-on design with leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of graphic design experience (CPG or regulated industry experience a plus)
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, hierarchy, and color theory
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM/marketing automation tools
  • Strong digital design and social media content creation skills
  • Packaging, pre-press, and dieline experience
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management abilities
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Nice To Haves

  • Regulatory/Drug Facts or FDA compliance experience
  • Experience working with vendors and managing production processes
  • Motion graphics or video editing skills

Responsibilities

  • Design for digital, print, packaging, and branding collateral
  • Mentor, support, and oversee two designers; provide creative direction and feedback
  • Advanced Photo Editing
  • Experience in creating videos
  • Manage projects from concept through production, ensuring timelines, accuracy, and brand consistency
  • Create digital assets for social media, email campaigns, web, presentations, and product visuals
  • Develop and update digital packaging artwork files to ensure accuracy, including dielines, labeling, and FDA-regulated Drug Facts
  • Maintain organized files, templates, brand assets, and documentation
  • Use Asana (or similar) for workload prioritization, tracking, and approvals
  • Coordinate with print vendors and outside partners as needed for accurate proofs for print materials
  • Support ongoing refinement of brand guidelines and visual standards
  • Uphold high QA standards across all creative output
  • Collaborate with customers and sales to understand their design needs, provide creative solutions, and present design concepts. Maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to collaborate on projects, issues, etc., to ensure department projects run smoothly.
  • Provide direction and guidance to junior designers or other members of the team, ensuring that design projects align with the overall creative vision and brand identity.
