Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for the selection, development, leadership, and retention of talented staff in the golf operations and outside services departments for your home club. Ensure golf operations and outside services staff are providing excellent guest service. Review guest, member surveys and determine appropriate plan of action if appropriate. Assist with the selection, onboarding, and development of Golf Operations leaders at other clubs as assigned Ensure compliance with the national programs such as Players Club and other initiatives. Ensure financial targets are being met and appropriate accounting procedures are being followed consistently in the golf department. Ensure proper controls are in place and being followed to accurately track revenues such as green fees, golf carts, lockers and handicap fees. Administration and oversight of club programs such as golf cart rental program and handicap program Retail and merchandising responsibilities to include displaying inventory in a clean and attractive manner, completing inventories, cost of goods reports and ensuring proper controls are being followed. Golf systems administration to include reservation system maintenance and accuracy and green fee accuracy on website and other sources. Partnering with the Revenue Managers for Daily-Fee clubs. Maintains constant communication between departments and keeps other departments informed about special programs and events. Golf Council Member of the Arcis Golf Council Meet regularly, at least every other week, to review and direct major golf initiatives as determined by the goals and objectives set at the beginning of the year. One of the Senior Golf Directors will serve as the Chairman of the Golf Council. The Chairman's Term is one year. The Golf Council will provide direction on the major golf initiatives and be an available golf resource throughout the year.
