About The Position

Senior Geotechnical Engineer Requisition Number: 2026-1800-02A Are you a Geotechnical Engineer seeking an opportunity to grow your technical and project management skills working on dynamic and complex projects? Our Atlanta , Georgia office is looking for an eager and motivated PE to join our Geotechnical team. This is a great opportunity for either an EIT looking to develop their technical skills and move into project management or a more seasoned engineer ready to take on different projects, mentor staff, and expand their technical and project management skills. Your Day-to Day: As a Geotechnical Engineering Project Manager , you will lead and manage a variety of geotechnical engineering projects from start to finish. You'll apply technical expertise while guiding project teams, supporting clients, and delivering timely and accurate recommendations for critical building and infrastructure developments in the private and public sectors.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Civil , Geotechnical, Mining, or a related engineering field.
5 + years of related geotechnical engineering experience which preferably includes some extent of project management responsibilities .
You have or are on track to obtain a n Engineering in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license

Responsibilities

Manage geotechnical projects from planning to execution, maintaining quality, schedule, and budget.
Analyze field and laboratory data to develop safe and effective engineering solutions.
Prepare technical reports, proposals, and support business development initiatives.
Serve as a key point of contact for clients and subcontractors, ensuring alignment and solving project challenges.
Mentor junior staff and promote a positive, safety-first work culture.
